Book a house showing
Pick a listing, date and time. The request is saved as a Booking in Requested status — nothing is emailed.
What to expect
A showing, not a sales pitch
A house tour is not a 20-minute scroll. Plan 45–60 minutes so your agent can walk the rooms, check the block, and answer questions on site — not in a follow-up email. Come with a list of questions you want answered before you think about an offer.
Come prepared
A showing is not a photo scroll. Here is what makes yours worth the trip.
- Comfortable shoes You will walk rooms, stairs, and often the yard. Wear something you can stay in for an hour.
- Your priority list Write down the three things that would make or break the purchase. Your agent will address them on site, not in a follow-up email.
- Financing status Know roughly what you are approved for — or what you plan to pay cash. It shapes which homes make sense to walk.
- Your timeline Are you buying in the next 60 days or researching for next year? Your agent will calibrate the conversation accordingly.
- All decision-makers If a partner, parent, or business partner will be part of the purchase, bring them. An extra showing costs everyone time.
What your agent brings
Preparation goes both ways. Your assigned specialist arrives ready.
- Listing briefing Floor plan if available, tax record, HOA notes, and any disclosed issues — ready before you arrive.
- Comps and price context Recent sales of similar homes in the same area, so you understand what the asking price reflects.
- On-site answers Questions about condition, systems, and neighborhood logistics answered on the walk — not in a follow-up email three days later.
- No pressure close The goal of a showing is information — not a signature. Agents do not push offers on the property or "back at the office."
Showing FAQ
Practical answers for house and neighborhood shoppers.
- What should I bring to a showing?
- A notebook and questions about systems, HOA rules, and the block. If you are shopping a condo, ask about dues and parking. This demo saves the request only — it does not email or text.
- How long is a typical walk-through?
- Plan 45–60 minutes for a house. A condo can be shorter; a commercial suite with build-out questions takes longer. Evening slots on this form match how working buyers actually tour after commute hours.
- Can I tour two listings on the same request?
- Pick one listing per request so the agent preps the right file. Want a house and a condo? Send two showing requests or note it in the comments after you choose the first address.
- Does this form schedule a real appointment?
- No. Submitting creates a Booking post in Requested status for the concept site. Nothing is emailed, texted, or added to a calendar.
